"The heights by great men reached and kept, were not obtained by sudden flight. But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upward in the night." - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. The preceding statement reflects the mantra that drives my dedication and assiduousness to my passion in life. My passion is giving service through teaching, learning, imparting what is learned to others to facilitate growth. Growth is a necessary part of change and change is a necessary part of life., therefore my passion is to help people cope and adapt to the ever-changing continuum of lifestyle, health and nutrition.
My work experience has equipped me with the knowledge and skills in the area of therapeutic nutrition. These skills have enabled me to serve those with chronic illnesses and to assist persons in maximizing resources to achieve optimal health. My professional career is not viewed as a job but instead a privilege, an opportunity to serve. Let us remember Winston Churchill’s admonition, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
